Rafe (pronounced like safe with an 'r') was born Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 10:12am. He was 8lbs 9oz, 21.5 inches long, his head was 14.5 inches around! The midwives called Tyler the Daddy Doula because he was such an amazing birthing coach for me. I always wanted to deliver naturally for at least one of my kids. Well, now that I've done it I won't do that again. Rafe is such a good baby and sleeps well at night, he enjoys eating, and loves when Tyler sings to him.

Congratulations, Thanks for posting the update. Rafe was born on my brothers Brent's birthday. He is so cute and way to go on the natural delivery! And a Daddy Dula cool, I love that he supported you so well. You'll have to keep me posted, of course you'll have all sorts of adventures to blog about now. Welcome to motherhood, you'll be great at it!
Congratulations Steph! He is super cute!! I'm glad you updated too, it's been a while. Way to go all natural, I tried that with my first, but it was just too much.
OH MY GOODNESS STEPHY!!! He's PERFECT!! I'm like freaking out here I'm sooo excited for you to be a mommy!!! You look fabulous! I can't believe that you did it naturally! Just wait till you get your epidural on your next one, you'll be like, what was I THINKING?!@?!? Although I really am so impressed, I couldn't do it.
Well, I hope that you're getting the hang of this, I promise it gets better...those first few weeks are...well, for me at least, really hard!! But everyday got better and better and better!! I LOVE YOU!!!
Congratulations! He looks happy and healthy. I was surprised to hear that you wouldn't repeat natural childbirth. I've never met someone who didn't prefer it, once they tried it. Did something go wrong? I am so glad he's here and you're well. Check out my blog, I've finally updated.
Hey Steph! Even though it's several months late, congrats! Emi gave me the link to your blog! I hope that life is going well! He's adorable! We're expecting our 3rd in July and are having a tough time with names, but I like Rafe! Way to go!
